Installation Note 53091: Adding a product to an existing SAS® 9.3 or SAS® 9.4 installation on a z/OS operating system overwrites previously installed hot fixes

If you install additional products to an existing SAS 9.3 or SAS 9.4 installation, any hot fixes that you had applied are overwritten. As a result, errors that you had previously fixed might occur again, because the hot fixes that you had applied are no longer there.
You should re-apply all previously installed hot fixes by running the SAS® Deployment Manager with the option -reinstallhotfixes.
A fix is planned for a future SAS software maintenance release.
